biglouis Posted August 17, 2008 Share #1 Posted August 17, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Highgate, London today, Jaguar 3.4. While photographing the car, the owner came over and was quite relaxed and talkative. Obviously liked people taking an interest in his pride and joy. topoxforddoc Posted August 18, 2008 Share #11 Posted August 18, 2008 Louis, Very nice indeed. The crop of the radiator is great. Was it a standard restored mark 2 or a Vicarage rebuild? Beautiful example - shut lines all straight. Charlie
stuny Posted August 18, 2008 Share #12 Posted August 18, 2008 Big - Superb specimen, framing, detail, depth and clarity to the first. Add superb crop and selective focus to the second.
biglouis Posted August 18, 2008 Author Share #13 Posted August 18, 2008 Thanks for all the comments. I am always impressed by the very high standard of the pictures in this section, much better than my attempts above. One interesting point for Leicaphiles. The wide shot was taken with my Elmarit 24/2.8 and the detail shot was taken with my CV 50/1.5, a very useful lens indeed. LouisB
