andybarton Posted September 26, 2006 Share #1 Posted September 26, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) There are a few people here who will recognise this place. Indeed, I have posted at least one shot of it before here. If you can avoid the scallies throwing stones into the sea over your head, it's a fine place. Much better in the winter and autumn than the summer, in my experience. R8/DMR/28 Lightroom Beta
Advertisement Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 Hi andybarton, Take a look here Trywn Du Lighthouse. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
squanmis Posted September 26, 2006 Share #2 Posted September 26, 2006 Nice photo. How did you minipulate the sky? It seems Winter would make the area kind of bleek. Thanks for sharing John.
andybarton Posted September 26, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted September 26, 2006 I didn't. The sky is just as God made it. Bleak is good.

ddp Posted September 27, 2006 Share #7 Posted September 27, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Andy, I'd like to see this bigger - the rocks appear to have some unreal texture even at this level of resolution. I could see this as being a horizontal as well with a thin line of the rocks on the bottom. Looks like a great place to shoot.
meatboy Posted September 27, 2006 Share #8 Posted September 27, 2006 Lighthouse pics are always a favourite of mine, this one is very original, top marks. I want more, more more!! Tim
stuny Posted September 27, 2006 Share #9 Posted September 27, 2006 Andy - Super, and your angle to make the rocks so prominent, and the water just a line is superb.
beramos Posted September 27, 2006 Share #10 Posted September 27, 2006 Andy, excellent composition. It is realy good also in B&W. I agree with the Stuart's comment (the line of the sea). I like it a lot. I agree with your comment: "Much better in the winter and autumn than the summer". Thanks for sharing.

ijporter Posted September 27, 2006 Share #13 Posted September 27, 2006 Hi Andy, Great shot - if you were of a sadistic mind, this would make a really nasty jigsaw! Ian
