Advertisement Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Hi francofile, Take a look here The "Top" of Europe . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jmr Posted September 24, 2006 Share #2 Posted September 24, 2006 Andrew, a strong and dramatic photograph. Did you consider moving the black point a little, it might give the picture even more intensity?
francofile Posted September 24, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted September 24, 2006 John Thanks for the suggestion. I am a novice with PS and have tried to minimise the amount of manipulation beyond brightness and contrast. I will explore moving the balck point and see what happens. Thanks again. stuny Posted September 24, 2006 Share #4 Posted September 24, 2006 Andrew - As John suggests I feel that all this lovely photo lacks is a touch greater contrast with blacker blacks. Don't be affraid to do it -- Unless you have Leicaman's scanning skills, scanning takes too much of a toll.

azzo Posted September 25, 2006 Share #9 Posted September 25, 2006 I think I am getting there with this. Thanks for the encouragement. Andrew Hi Andrew, did you try cropping from slightly below the pointed dark rock in the middle, till the bottom of you image ? I think it'll look even better. Only an opinion. fotografr Posted September 25, 2023 Share #10 Posted September 25, 2023 (edited) What happened to the photo? I'm not seeing anything here now. Prior to it disappearing, I copied it and did some editing because it had so much potential. This is what I came up with. Welcome, dear visitor!
