erl Posted October 6, 2008 Share #162 Posted October 6, 2008 OK! I've started walking (it's a long way from here!). See you guys and gals in a few days. I haven't checked the weather reports because I knew I could rely the 'English contingent' to have already done that. Thanks guys. I'll leave my wet weather gear at home then. See y'all soon. stunsworth Posted October 7, 2008 Share #164 Posted October 7, 2008 I think we'll be having another vote in Krakow on Saturday to decide on a short list of places for next year - yes it seems a long way away, so get your thinking caps on! I have half a dozen places in mind. How to choose just one, that's the problem.
earleygallery Posted October 7, 2008 Share #165 Posted October 7, 2008 Please PM me if you're travelling to Krakow and want my number in case of problems finding the venues etc.
stunsworth Posted October 7, 2008 Share #166 Posted October 7, 2008 A tip at Krakow airport when you're coming back. There isn't much seating on the ground floor, and it was packed last time I was there, however there's more seating on the mezannine floor, and also a cafe that that had plenty of free seating. There was also free Wi-Fi when I was there last, so you can catch up on what's been happening on the forum if you have a suitable device.
erl Posted October 8, 2008 Share #167 Posted October 8, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Finally arrived Krak, 3pm today!! 35+ Hrs travelling & I'm buggered. Be warned. The bus from airport will only take correct change (2,65Zl I think) and of course when you cash up at the airport you don't get 'change.' About a 1/2 hour trip. Buses are round the corner from where the taxis arew. Can't see threm fro terminal. Walk in the direction the taxis are pointing and buse are around corner to left. I'vw had two beers on an empty stomach and the keyboard at the hostel i'm using dasmost of thre keys 'rubbed off. So not fixing too many typos. Crashin to bed now. See you guys soon.
