kivis Posted yesterday at 07:12 PM Share #1 Posted yesterday at 07:12 PM Advertisement (gone after registration) I often bring my M3 with B/W film and my M10 shooting in color to an event. Ameatur hour only. I love the different and interesting results.
Advertisement Posted yesterday at 07:12 PM Posted yesterday at 07:12 PM Hi kivis, Take a look here Who uses digital and film at the same shoot?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted 9 hours ago Share #2 Posted 9 hours ago Akiva - The last time I did that was when I had my first digital camera, the D2, and took it with me, along with my R8 to Madagascar in 2004. All digital since then.
TomB_tx Posted 7 hours ago Share #3 Posted 7 hours ago Also only amateur now - for events and travel I've often carried M9 or M10 & M6 and got comparison shots, and now M10 & M7 set to operate identically. Often with slide film to feed my old Pradovit! Grew up loving the slide shows of our vacations, after some months to finish the rolls of film. 250swb Posted 6 hours ago Share #4 Posted 6 hours ago Maybe sometimes I take a P&S camera as a backup for film or digital but mixing is too distracting and I either have my film head on or my digital head, never both because they bound to argue and lead to confused thinking. LocalHero1953 Posted 5 hours ago Share #5 Posted 5 hours ago I tried it recently - a drama rehearsal where both could work well. I didn't shoot either particularly well - too distracted by metering: "am I trying to protect highlights or shadows in this shot?". Never again. Bart D Posted 4 hours ago Share #6 Posted 4 hours ago Almost always when I go on a photo walk. B&W in one, colour for the other one.
