The sunshade looks original to me.
And I can readily understand that it combines with the f=9cm Elmar in closed position.
And with a f=13,5cm lens when fully extended.

But how can it be suitable for f=3,5cm and f=5cm lenses as well?
It would cause enormous vignetting!
Is this an engraving error?

Roland, I have that kind of sunshade in my collection too, albeit in a better condition. I even used it for some time, it works.

In my understanding you have to align the lower margin of the upper and outer segment with the engraving.

So:

fully extended: 13,5 cm

half way through: 9 cm

nearly collapsed: 5cm

fully collapsed:  3,5 cm

I stopped using this sunshade because of its weight-it´s all brass  and adds considerably to the weight of the set.
