SrMi Posted October 28 Share #1 Posted October 28 Advertisement (gone after registration) He is a rangefinder user—also a Q3 and D-Lux 8 user—who likes the M-EV1 and plans to use it in the next 6 months. It will be interesting (to me) to follow his positive and negative experiences.

Stef63 Posted October 28 Share #3 Posted October 28 I stopped after 2 minutes. I wonder why Leica even bothers to supply these guys with their products.

charlesphoto99 Posted October 28 Share #5 Posted October 28 (edited) Dudes like this are not photographers, they're testers and p.r hacks. Next week it will be on to something else. No time to actually become handy with any one camera or platform, let alone the creation of a body of unifying work beyond the universal theme tying all of these influencers together - photos of people walking down the street looking at their cellphones. I only scrubbed the video, but of course he has to pimp his new Leica with boutique straps and crap so it will work so much better and faster. 😂 Edited October 28 by charlesphoto99 1

I believe he buys his own gear. AFAIK, he was not among the creators invited to Italy for the M-EV1 launch (based on his YT posts and the launch videos). Checking his Instagram feed, he seems like a decent photographer.

It's alright, better than some of the paid influencers. I doubt the EVF-M will help, perhaps actually hinder. But he's got those fancy Owlkrown add ons - I guess he's a true 'Leica Man.' 😏

Owlkrown are currently my favorite M camera straps, and I have tried almost every brand.

Unfortunately my favorite strap make went out of biz (Upstrap).
