Kinks Gone, Firmware Improvements. Anybody Turn to the M11 Recently?

I've looked closely at M11s, but I really love the ultra-quiet shutter of my M10-R, and can't see giving that up. The improved battery, Visoflex, etc., are appealing, but for me the quiet shutter is worth it. And the camera's performance overall leaves nothing to be desired.

M10-R users. Have the last couple of years of M11 firmware improvements, apparently solving the early M11 problems, made you think about upgrading? Has anyone upgraded recently.
Thoughts?

No, nothing in the M11 firmware improvements has tempted me to move to the M11. The louder shutter is a physical thing, not a firmware issue.

An M10 Monochrom would enable me to shoot in MUCH lower light. An M10-R would enable shooting on bright days at a true ISO 100, plus, the M10-R has some technical improvement in long-exposure low-light shooting, that I cannot recall in detail, at the moment. So, if I felt the need, I would rather upgrade within the M10 “family.”

When my original M10 was down, in need of repair, after a mishap, I added a pre-owned M Type 246 Monochrom. I remain reasonably content, for now, using these two models. 24MP is plenty of resolution, for simply walking about with a camera, capturing the occasional image.

I already slightly begrudge my 10-R having 40mp, but on balance I like working on the files more than I did the M10 (they're more malleable and nicer in the highlights)

Personally I have no desire for a 60mp rangefinder, the bigger battery and internal storage aren't enticing for me (OMWV), ISO64 might be nice... but overall the M11 is (AFAIK) to all intents and purposes the same form factor and OVF experience as the M11, so I think that it will basically feel like the same camera to use.

The upgrade from the 240 to the M10 was tangible in so many areas (smaller body, more eye relief OVF, nicer files, nicer colours, more DR)

The upgrade from the 10 to the 10-R was a bit tougher, more malleable files and the physical improvements from the 10-P

The 10-R to 11 upgrade path for me (YMMV) isn't so clear at all.

I concur, apart from battery life, and resolution i see not much difference in terms of usage ..besides m10 has baseplate advantage

I had a M10, added a M10R & M11M. I feel I’m done, I want for nothing in a traditional system, with a digital workflow.
Of all my cameras, the M10R is my favourite M, but I am mesmerised by the tonal output of the M11M.
