costa43 Posted October 8 Share #8 Â Posted October 8 The key differences are 256gb vs 64gb, diamond screen, content credentials and different design. Another benefit is likely better value retention if you plan on upgrading in the future, but if you are buying used, you will probably spend the extra on purchasing the P in the first place so meh. Both cameras take the same pics. I like the additional storage and no longer use an SD card. I also prefer the no red dot design of the P models, otherwise its neither here nor there. Chris W Posted October 8 Share #9 Â Posted October 8 Yes, I would have liked the content credentials, but not able to pay a premium for it.

The sapphire rear screen is less susceptible to scratches but more liable to shatter understand.

Yes, I still have a screen protector on the M11-P even with the less scratch resistant screen.
david strachan Posted October 8 Share #15  Posted October 8 (edited) There is a tiny diamond engraved on the LCD, right middle side. Hence "diamond". It's not true sapphire either. My M-P still gets shallow microscratches. But difficult to see. Edited October 8 by david strachan

Ne314satel Posted October 12 Share #18 Â Posted October 12 It would be great if Leica made the M12 (m11p) like the Hasselblad - the new X2D2 is cheaper than the old X2D.
