The Goodwood Revival is a great event. I went as a treat for my 70th birthday, but got delayed for a couple of years due to Covid. I eventually got there in 2022 and hugely enjoyed the event. If I lived in the South of England I would go every year. I'm not sure if my photo below is reminiscent of Martin Parr. It was taken in the dining area, M6 + Portra 400.

I mainly went for the racing and the tributes to Graham Hill (boyhood hero) and Ferrari. Despite the huge crowds, it was one of the best organised events I have ever attended. More important, my wife enjoyed it as well.

I was watching the Revival on the You Tube live stream and in one of the close up spectator shots was a chap with a Barnack Leica and tele lens, not just a period prop, he was using it!

Great picture of Dolly and Gracie! They are there every year. If you have a personal encounter with them, you will get "pegged"! (that's a wooden clothes peg.)

There were a couple of guests of the Duke, one of whom had a black paint M3 and the other day IIIG. They were both shooting away and enjoying themselves. Money was no object, as they were both Sheikhs.

The Revival is always an absolute joy and in so many different ways!

Here's one happy-snap grab-pic (posted elsewhere the other day) of a couple of 'Smudgers' spotted on the Saturday. Unlike the kit being used by those chaps mentioned above these technical-baseboard cameras were almost certainly NOT being put into proper service; a suspicion which would seem to be confirmed by the presence of what appear to be 'Go-Pro' style cameras fitted to the front-right - as we look - of each camera's housing.

Thanks for showing! Looks like the 3 gents found out over the years, that it's maybe even more the good time than the pics. (4x5 full film holders, flash bulbs...??).

More often than not I happen to agree btw. Been there twice, both times very lucky with the weather.

First time Canon 1D II N 2.8/70-200IS. Remember being at the stands, each of my "rafales" triggered a suppressed: "These foreigners!" look...

The second time, years later with a Fujifilm Gf 670W set at 6x6 and loaded with Portra 400, which I kept in several canisters holding 5 rolls each. Before the Fujifilm canisters disappeared from ebay, there was a ridiculous mark up. Now I see them looking just the same from China, costing as little as shipping within Germany.

Good to hear the event keeps humming - so do I :)  Weather reports get more accurate every year - just curious about booking short notice a central lodging / hotel 2026.

Thank you for reminding me!
