Yes, have had this same issue since new 100% The battery life for me in the Q3 is appalling. I have two batteries.

I can get at least a full day of shooting from my Q3 without BT or wi-fi etc on and minimal chimping.

In addtion, change the LCD/Viewfinder settings to Auto or EVF extended.  This will turn the LCD panel off when wearing the camera with a strap against your body.  If carrying in a bag, I suggest turning the camera off.  On a recent 6-week roadtrip with hikes and frequent stops to take photos, I have not experiened poor battery life with the adjustments mentioned.  I do carry a spare battery just in case, but have not needed to use it.

I've just come back from a break in York and when I used the Q3 I had the camera in my hand for the day, battery life was okay, I found that when I was trying to take candid street scenes and having to keep the camera awake I used more battery than when shooting static subjects, I did change batteries before it ran out once. As with any modern all electric camera I always carry spare batteries.

I have the same experience.  Battery life is pretty bad.  It was also bad on my Q2.  And my new Nikon Z7ii is not much better.  I use to be able to get 4-500 shots on my Nikon D750 but maybe 150 on my Z7 and less on my Q/s.  And I have most of the setting suggested in the above posts enabled.  I now turn it off even if I expect to take more photos in the next 20 minutes or so.  And if you leave it on overnight in a case when you pull it out it will be quite warm and have a dead battery.  At least my Nikon does not do that.

But, hey.  It takes great photos and is a blast to use.  Most fun I have had in photography since my first serious camera in 1971,  (Edixa SLR)

In my personal experience, the one absolutely key thing to stop that—and, generally, to extend battery life—is to ensure that Leica FOTOS connectivity is set to "Off”.

It is off.  I don't even have a cell phone.
