LocalHero1953 Posted August 19 Share #4 Posted August 19 (edited) Yes, lovely, perfect eyes. How did you light these? (Just my opinion, but I think the first image could be cropped at the bust line). Another plus for the BF. Do you have anything further to add to your experience with it? Drawbacks? Edited August 19 by LocalHero1953

Thanks a lot Paul! Yes cropping would be a possibility but I liked it as it is. But like always it s a matter of personal taste. It was only natural light (frontal and side light). I am happy with the BF but to me there are two drawbacks: in direct sunlight from the back the monitor is not good and the lifetime of the battery is a (bad) joke.
LocalHero1953 Posted August 19 Share #6 Posted August 19 I quite understand about cropping - yes, it's a personal thing! Is there a way to use the BF with flash? Can a wireless trigger be connected? But I guess that conflicts with the minimalist concept.

As far as I have seen, there is no possibility to use a wireless trigger.
stuny Posted August 20 Share #8 Posted August 20 Absolutely stunning overall and the eyes. On top of that, her right arm suggests excellent muscle tone. I vote to see this subject more often.

fotografr Posted August 22 Share #14 Posted August 22 I completely agree with you about her eyes. Her hair is also amazing and the way you positioned her in the first image really lights in nicely. It's interesting that the pose in the 2nd image make her look older and more mature. I also really like the wall used for a backdrop in the 2nd image. Excellent work, Marc.

That cropping would take out the gorgeous and beautifully lit end of her stunning hair. Just my opinion. 1

I am happy that you like the series and I was so fascinated by her eyes that I wanted to show more photos. Maybe the difference between the 1st and the 2nd photo is also the light. The direct light makes her younger (we should try it too😁)

StS Posted September 5 Share #19 Posted September 5 Very intense eyes indeed, I especially like the first one for the outstanding lighting, tonal control and the well chosen background. Stefan
GFW2-SCUSA Posted September 5 Share #20 Posted September 5 Oh! I just discovered these three beautiful portraits of this lovely woman with magnificent eyes and hair - well the whole face is beautiful I like the second the best because of the lighting and I find it a bit more interesting. With all due respect to the camera I suspect you could use a Holga and she would appear as lovely.
