Going to make it a rare collectable item in years to come. Yes, three were allocated. I got mine close to launch. Progear had one that was listed as in stock for a few weeks then sold (yours?) and I believe there’s one more at Leica NZ (Lacklands). I gather we’re ‘under’ Leica Australia which is I think a proper Leica geographical presence whereas NZ isn’t.

Reason i ask is i’ve just brought a leica green half leather case. The retailer was suggesting i should just leave it and let the brassing begin! But i’m in that honeymoon period where i like its pristine look! Probably within the first year of toting it around.

Kiwimac Posted August 5 Share #404 Posted August 5 No idea. Perhaps they rarely come up for sale in a complete set. IIRC the 50 had more copies made than the other two.
Fresno Posted August 5 Share #405 Posted August 5 I want a 35mm, od green. Leica has 35mm for Israel Defense Forces in 1980s. Welcome, dear visitor! It's time to get a silver Noctilux 50/1.2 re-issue. It only costs ~$40K, but it will look good on your safari.

Kiwimac Posted August 7 Share #410 Posted August 7 Yes. That one. It’s lighter than my Summilux 28 as well.   I’m not sure if I would give up the Lux for it though and that’s the only way I’d free up the cash.
justj Posted August 18 Share #411 Posted August 18 Dust already gathered inside my m11 safari. Is it too soon? One dust sits behind the 1st layer of glass and the other dust sits on the glass inside the finder. I don't have such a problem on m9 nor m240 but this m11 seems to be so problematic. Not a problem but it’s quite bugging.. i think out of many bodies, there are one or a couple inherit such issues, that includes the M10 and i forget during my M240 or didn;t bother

Will have zero impact on images, and take a disproportionate amount of time and money to fix.

It is extremely simple to lift off the top, give it a quick blow and replace. The only consideration is a flex cable. Any Leica oriented camera service can do it for you, often while you wait. It's not really limited to sitting in the back of a Landcruiser with a 600mm. In East Africa you could say something like *habari ya safari?* which roughly translates to *how was your trip?* or *how is your trip going?*.
