The color tone of these don't seem match. I think silver would be better looking.

Besides, the so-called limited is a lie from chinese companies. They are widely available everywhere. I personally saw two LLL 8e green with exact same serial number :D

Unless they were both in the same photo, one could have been a fake listing. I see a lot of scam eBay listings that steal product photos from other listings or from elsewhere online.

The color difference is much less dramatic in person. The LLL 8-E Safari blends pretty well with the M11 Safari.

It’s still available from LLL official website.

No body wants this ugly green thing

Not to drift too off-topic but I wanted to say BrightinStar are only doing 100 but saw today they're back in stock, not only that they raised the price $200 USD.

That said actually using mine and appreciate the compactness.

Brightin star has done this many times in the past, first claim a x number of limited editions and go out of stock for a few days, then all of sudden back to stock and jacked up price.

The lens itself is piece of crap anyway, look at the price of black version, it’s merely $400 and I think it’s worth no more than $100.

look at its MTF, 20 centermeter away from centre, sharpness falls off the cliff. I genuinely don’t understand why people would pay that much for a crap like this

Questionable mtf curves, @ f2.8 shows a very high central value that diminishes @ f5.6, I can't remember seeing this in any lens prior.  Also, @ 5.6 the 20 and 40 lp/mm start at the same point on the vertical axis, again, an unusual reading.   Nonetheless, I would like to try this lens for kicks and giggles.

I’ve no idea about the lens itself - I’d never even heard of it until this thread - but $400 sounds like the equivalent of ‘free’ in terms of lenses in M Mount!

Really? Australia or New Zealand people are so used to horrendous price now?

Look around, there are plenty 3rd party manufacturers making M mount lenses for less than $500. Brightin star itself is selling this 28/2.8 black version for $398, they only jacked up the green version from $900 to $1000. Doesn’t that tell you something? M mount is not equivalent to prestigious product.

I’m talking about the cost of owning two bodies, not lenses.

Two M11-P bodies isn’t far short of the entire average take home salary in NZ. M12 will doubtless be even greater.

Given that plenty of Leica lenses are more expensive than M bodies, a $400 lens is pretty close to being free.

For a while in the U.S., a $400 M lens wasn't much more than an M11 battery 🫠

Which one is it? The 90 apo ultron? Do you have a bit more images with the lens on it. Would be great. Currently I think about a second lens. 50mm color skopar, 75mm Nokton or one of the 90mm Voigtlander

Is someone using a Kamera Grip LM11Grip v1? I like to buy one but I prefer full silver but he is offering just black silver and walnut silver. I'm not sure how it looks like with walnut.

https://www.kamerakraft.com/product-page/kamerakraft-lm11grip-v1

I do have the glossy which isnt too glossy but more close to the black chrome appearance due to its process

May be check on the IG? Not many reference photos from users, they only published though IG story i guess

The camera, the watch and the hat.  Please, no obsession comments.

A few comments on the camera:  I am surprised that I get less blurred images when handheld than the M10-R.  The dreaded camera freeze occurred 4 times on a resent shoot, I changed cards from Sony Tough to Sandisk and it's been okay since.  Leica's attempt to keep a simple menu system is to be admired, greater features and choices makes this difficult, perhaps it's familiarity but the M10 is less complex for me.  A little perspective: any negative comments here are small and picky, the camera is fabulous and the images also.

The batteries have arrived for those who were waiting for them! Part number: AKKU BP-SCL7 Olive 24 043

I bought them at the Leica boutique in Harrods. Ask for Shaukat, tell him Jordan sent you and he will sort you out!
