Piece of cake then😁. (Actually some of my (not Leica) lenses have gears attached for use in underwater housings. Unfortunately there is no standardisation for their spec so each manufacturer designs their own.)

Slightly off topic, but this fascinating video popped up:  first under-water use of an anamorphic lens, for the filming of 20,000 leagues under the sea.

I was working around the corner few years back when I bought M240 from them. Haven’t been there since then.

Q3 was purchased from Mayfair store and I sell my stuff through ApertureUK.

90+% of their business must be through website. I buy from Ivor, but can't justify trip to shop

Interesting. I can't understand how Red Dot can only be open between 0930 and 1500! I wish I could do that! I'm in London at the moment but that's impossible unless one's on leave, retired or work around the corner.

And only open Monday - Friday.

Most of my stuff has come from them. Site seems to be working now ,as you said.

That looks interesting at first glance, BUT it would reduce the distance between the center image window and the main image window (which is now effectively the lens) to about half of the distance for a "classical" rangefinder and thus reduce accuracy. Or, wait, they could move the lens mount to the right side (when viewed from the front) of the camera...

They are a pro dealer and not a normal retail shop. They are good to deal with on my experience.

They must do more than Leica then surely. Not sure how you could pay the rent and put food on the table providing Leicas to professionals (especially those who walk into your shop).

Switching to pure EVF probably best for >=75mm

The out of focus effect of the main lens, becoming sharp and overlayed with a sharp RF patch may give a heightened visual acutance.

I may be completely wrong, and Leica R&D may have more clever techniques to reveal . Not long to go now.

One eye squint is still necessary then 😉

1:1 magnification on the EVF would allow a both eyes open framing ... or could the EVF be set to draw black masks like the Voigtländer Kontur viewfinder.
