Bill W Posted January 19 Share #1 Â Posted January 19 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am looking at acquiring the SL3. I prefer to use back button auto focus where possible. This separates the focussing fro the shutter button. Is this possible on the SL3? I have been looking through the operating manual but cannot find anything other than manual focus and the shutter button to only take the image. I know there are function buttons but can you assign one to autofocus and turn off the focus at the shutter button? Thanks

Photoworks Posted January 19 Share #3 Â Posted January 19 you can set the Leica lens in MF in the menu, at this point you can push in the joystick and BBF is active. Note that it doesn't work with all Panasonic or Sigma lenses.
