Another in the series, SL2-S, 1954 collapsible 5 cm cron.  I am having fun with the old glass on newer tools!

Nicely done. especially for a 70 year old lens. I also attend fashion shows, usually with my CL, but have been thinking of moving to he SL2-S for better low light and more accurate AF performance. I take it you are satisfied with the SL2-S for your application(s)?

I am an M shooter since the 70's. The SL2-S is a recent addition. Specifically, I was looking for a better way to use studio lighting / off camera flash and still get excellent focus capability. As my eyes age, the visoflex on the M10 prohibited use of the hot-shoe. Although I still prefer the compactness and shooting experience of the M (M3,  M4-2 , original M6 bought new long ago, M8 and M10)  for my general work - the technical capability of the SL2-S in this lighting scenario - is excellent. I am genuinely pleased with the opportunities this rig now offers. So the one word answer to your question is: "yes". Thanks for the kind words. Best, Coos

btw: I can not answer re autofocus as I shoot only M glass. The low light performance is better than my M10 -  but not by too much.

The SL3-S has just been released and Leica claims it has the most advanced autofocus out there.
