Sf26 is 124 grams and takes 2 AAA (30grams a pair) batteries and the SF40 weights in at 203 grams and take 4 AA (120 grams for four).  So on the camera the sf26 is 154 grams and the SF40 is 323 grams

SF40 does HSS and Sf26 does not.

The SF40 is a lot to put on top of an M11. Those weak pressure rails on the iso shoe will loosen up very quickly and it will flop around.

The SF26 is very compact and functions just as well unless you need HSS in which case .

The Sf26 slips in a bag pocket nicely and barely takes more space than a camera battery does. The SF40 shape does not.

I currently have an Sf26 which I use on the M11 and an Sf60 and SFC1 for times I need off camera flash. The Sf26 nicely slips into a bag pocket on my Billingham M bag.

What about the tiny Godox X3 wireless trigger and a Godox flash on a grip?
Not really small, but it works at least on my SL2 but should also on a M.

Chris

EDIT: A short search found a tread in another forum with email between owner and Godox stating this.

Zitat

Unfortunately, our technician responded that the compatibility issue is due to a mismatch in the hotshoe, which cannot be resolved through a firmware update.

So it seems no Godox with working TTL on the M11 😞

It works with M10, not M11
