You have forgotten all the excellent lenses from Voigtlänger in your list, which are on a par with Leica lenses.

In my experience AI can be spectacularly wrong. It is mostly right but often over general and keys off the wrong words. It probably got stuck on the word Leica.

"Leica lens" can be interpreted in two ways: A lens manufactured by Leica or for Leica. The question requires further specification (although there is no correct answer anyway).

As far as I am concerned I have the best Leica lens. But a public forum is not the place to reveal its details nor serial number😆.

Does your wife agree with this?

Are you not setting yourself up for trouble now ? If you 'have the best Leica lens' the old question is bound to arise : 'why do you need another lens'

I have a set of Leica lenses (including the 'best') which does everything I want😉.  But never say never.

I have four of Leica's fastest - and most expensive - M lenses.  The "best" lens of the four is the one that's best suited to the available light situation where I find myself.  Often, my 90mm f/1.5 Summilux is simply too "telephoto" for the situation.  All four lenses are amazing.  Sometimes I want more than just a photo of someone's nose.

What is the best Leica lens?

My OP post was meant to find out what Grok would answer to the question, what is the best Leica lens?   For those that don't know, Grok is Elon Musk's AI.  Elon is set to be the most powerful AI in the world in 2025 with more Nvidia processors in a huge AI farm in the US.

It did not surprise me that members posted as if this was another standard question, what is the best lens?  These posts could not have been created by AI.  These posts were organic posts of emotion, creatively based understanding of the optics and human understanding of nuance of these optics. These posts were actually a rage against the machine, whether they knew it or not.

My take, Grok does not have "intelligence," only outputting what it found on the internet based on some programed algorithm.

Grok will never be able to understand the spiritual human soul given to us by God.

The artistic creativity displayed on this forum is such conclusive proof man's soul in contrast to the cold analytic silicon intelligence with no Godly soul, it should be obvious that there will never be a real singularity.

Funny, the 'fastest' M lenses are clearly the slowest in working with them.
