T25UFO Posted November 3 Share #148  Posted November 3 21 minutes ago, Mahesh said: I was excited for sometime reading your reply as I value light weight 😂 Well, the glossy black version of the Noctilux lens is the same weight as the regular edition, so that is good.  The difference is simply in the surface treatment and not the under-lying metal - anodised aluminium for the regular lens and painted aluminium for the glossy black.  I have the regular version and it really is a wonderful lens.  Take a look at some of the excellent photos posted by @patrickcolpron in the M Lens section. A Glossy Black (or Black Paint) camera is nice, but it's only cosmetic.  A Noctilux lens will produce the same wonderful images irrespective of which M11 variant you use 🙂 2 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
