I think the first thing I'd do is press 'Auto Color' because the colour is off and makes the oranges, pinks, and blue sky and their reflections look muddy. It also has the effect of making the shadows/rocks bluer in the foreground and contrast more with the fallen red leaves. The second thing I'd do is balance the photo with a very slight vignette because as it is the areas to the left and right of the two trees are treated tonally the same as the central area and this drags my eyes away from the interesting bit which is the two trees framing the central area. There are also some nice cooler tones in the trees to contrast with the oranges and you could also selectively lighten the trunks a bit to bring this out.
