stuny Posted October 22, 2024 Share #2 Posted October 22, 2024 Perfect in light, color pose and moment. I suspect we'll see this subject a few more times in the future. All natural light, or is it an excellent facsimile of it?

fotografr Posted October 23, 2024 Share #4 Posted October 23, 2024 Outstanding use of natural light, great pose, wonderful colour. Maybe consider cropping off some of the excess backdrop at the top so her face isn't so centered. At least, that's what I'd do. 1

Thanks a lot for your advice

Some years ago, I spent a weekend in the company of a remarkable photographer and human being, Giles Duley. At the time, Giles said that his preferred aspect ratio for portraits was 5:4 and often I find that works very well. David 1

David Agreed - I usually crop portrait orientated images to 5x4 - and, quite often, landscape orientated images to 16x9

I also try it now and sometimes it is the perfect size for a portrait
