I wish you all fine shooting and fantastic food and company. Safe travels to you all.

Would dearly love to be joining you but those days are over for me.

Warning: I am a savage critic, so shoot well and post your best images. I will be merciless. ( 🙃from down under. )

The hotel we are staying in (as are a few others) is very nice, and they clearly understand their clientele. These were left on the pillows... 😊

What a great restaurant we found in Palma.

They really looked after us and the food and service were excellent.

Thanks to everyone who joined the Challenge, as always, and thanks again to @Olaf_ZG for his generosity 🥂

Here's to the next one... in Edinburgh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Thank you Andy for the excellent organization (as always). We tremendously enjoyed the day, the wonderful scenery, food and, of course company! I think I captured many excellent challenge contributions - but experience taught me that this may well change once the films are developed 😫 😁. Anyway, have a nice stay all, and a safe journey back!

Indeed, many thanks again to Andy for the organization. The Palma challenge can be rated as a major success since Vanessa got a unicorn painted by every dinner participant. As every year, I'm not so sure about my photographic yield but that is part of the tradition as well.

On a side note my flight was that significantly delayed that we were advised to make sure to board the right flight since several flights with the same destination would leave almost at the same time.

Anyhow, home again, wishing everyone who is still in Palma safe travels

Stefan

I'll join the others in saying thank you @andybarton for your organisation once again. Whilst Palma isn't the easiest location to photograph (especially with the weather we experienced for part of the weekend!), the company and the excellent restaurant you found for the Saturday Challenge dinner more than made up for it.

The air travel out yesterday was a mess. Ended up with a 3h10 delay, which in theory gives me compensation, but I"m sure EasyJet will find a way not to pay it (weather would be such a reason not to pay, but the reason they gave us in the emails and airport comms was 'not enough planes caused by a technical problem')

Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year in Edinburgh!

  • andybarton changed the title to Submit entries! Palma: 11/10/25

Submitting images for voting

Following the meeting, participants have until 2nd November 2025 to:

 Develop their film, if necessary.
Select the single exposed image they believe best captures the day for them.
 Scan that image if necessary.
Size that image ready for posting to the Forum, with the longest side not greater than 2000 pixels and not greater than 1MB in file size.
Forward that image to the organiser via email together with title. Receipt of the image will be confirmed by return email.
