Hell Posted October 20, 2024 Share #6 Posted October 20, 2024 Wow, thanks! James Jarche comes out of this very well. Seen it all, shot it all perfectly, then just a lovely cool grandad. His miners' pictures are more intimate than Brandt's, which I've known my whole life. I might be able to sneak in another viewing of this documentary as the wife is a big David Suchet fan!
TomB_tx Posted October 20, 2024 Share #7 Posted October 20, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) My son needs to watch this video. I'm giving him my 1955 DS, so this would be a good introduction,
ktmrider2 Posted October 22, 2024 Share #8 Posted October 22, 2024 (edited) Excellent video. Initially I did not know who David Suchet was. It just goes to show that a 50 year old M3 is certainly as useful as the latest and greatest digital if you enjoy film. Some people would say the image is what it is about, not megapixels or auto exposure or ????. How did photographers get usable imagines before autofocus or autoexposure or the ability to shoot at 30 fps. I know but I am not telling since I started with a 4x5 Graflex.
