RQ44 Posted January 2 Share #61 Posted January 2 Advertisement (gone after registration) I know this may sound silly, but I purchased the Leica leather wrap they sell on their website. I wrap my Leica up in that and toss into my normal everyday backpack. I don't actually travel with a camera bag as such. When home my Leica just lives on my desk.
Advertisement Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Hi RQ44, Take a look here What bag to carry the Q3 43 in?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Stephen_C Posted January 3 Share #62 Posted January 3 I don't think that's silly at all. I use the Artisan & Artist soft pouch for my Q3 and travel with it in the same way (i.e., in my day rucksack). I much prefer that to having it constantly hanging somewhere from me on my person. When I think I'm going to be using the camera it's out of the bag and the camera strap is around my neck. My view is that a normal everyday rucksack/backpack gives far more flexibility and usability than a dedicated camera bag ( for non professional use that is ). The other plus is a normal backpack doesn't yell out loud, ' camera bag packed with expensive gear '. Edited January 3 by RQ44
Tyler Howell Posted January 4 Share #64 Posted January 4 I use the Chrome industries kadet sling. I'll always swear by it. Is it a camera bag? Nope. But its a fraction of the price of most "camera bags" and fits better than all of them. Its designed for bike messengers so it fits super snug against my back and doesn't swing around at all. Can be slung around the body for quick access and comes with lifetime warranty with chrome. Cant beat it
classba Posted January 4 Share #65 Posted January 4 (edited) I use the PD sling 3L and the Bellroy Venture sling 10L camera edition when I also need to carry one of my Nikon mirrorless with a lens attached. Edited January 4 by classba

PeXi Posted January 24 Share #68 Posted January 24 I like it minimalistic, small and light to match the Q3. I ended up with the Manfrotto Advanced 3 shoulder bag S. Fits very well for the camera, small accessories, spare battery and cell phone; also inexpensive. https://www.manfrotto.com/de-de/advanced-umhangetasche-s-iii-mb-ma3-sb-s/?___store=manfrotto_de_de Welcome, dear visitor! PhotoCruiser Posted January 26 Share #70 Posted January 26 I still use the above bag for the Q2 alone or a slightly bigger LowePro for the Q2, Elpro52 and Metz Flash. Chris
M11 for me Posted January 27 Share #71 Posted January 27 I carry the Q on its strap and never use a bag. Unless I need a bag anyway for my purse, my glasses, my cigarettes, my lighter etc. If at the same time I could put my Q into this bag then this is fine. I bought a Wotancraft 3.5L for my Q2M a couple months ago. I love the looks, functionality, craftsmanship, and the flexibility to tailor it to one’s needs. Plenty of room to get the Q in and out quickly + a point-and-shoot (Sony RX100), filters, strap, spare battery, cards, etc. Yet it is small, light, easy to carry, weather-resistant, and unassuming in appearance. (Btw, the canvas is darker and slightly more olive-coloured than these snaps show.) Welcome, dear visitor! I am so happy with it I likely will buy their 7L so I can add my Nikon SLR if I can convince myself they’ll both fit. But bags are such personal choices — so much depends upon your tastes and which bag characteristics you prioritize above the others . . . .
