albertospa Posted September 18, 2024 Share #1 Posted September 18, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Sorry, maybe you have already covered this topic. I have a Q3 and I can't use the "focal shift" crop function in Capture One. Any suggestions? Thanks
Advertisement Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 Hi albertospa, Take a look here Leica Q3 in Capture One. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Luke_Miller Posted September 18, 2024 Share #2 Posted September 18, 2024 With my Q2 Capture One does not recognize the camera's crop setting. I expect the same is true of the Q3. On the other hand, Capture One gives me access to the full 25mm field of view image if I need it.
Dok67 Posted September 18, 2024 Share #3 Posted September 18, 2024 Similarly for Q3
albertospa Posted September 18, 2024 Author Share #4 Posted September 18, 2024 Thanks for the replies. I don't understand why C1 has this limitation. Using Camera Raw of course everything works fine.
SrMi Posted September 20, 2024 Share #5 Posted September 20, 2024 C1 also does not support Leica Perspective Control. I read somewhere that external tools can process DNGs so that C1 can recognize the selected crop. AFAIK, Leica and Capture One collaborate closely. I don't understand why C1 doesn't support the embedded metadata. It would be best to contact C1 to clarify future directions regarding Leica.
