Michael-IIIf Posted December 15, 2007 Share #12 Posted December 15, 2007 I picked up a copy today. Great. I also used the opportunity to chase up any news on my D2. Not so great.
bill Posted December 15, 2007 Share #13 Posted December 15, 2007 I have it, and am honoured by the mention. Doesn't it just show tbe power of the printed page over the interweb, though? The shots look really good - far more depth and subtlety than on the ol' computer screen (yes I know the technical bit - I'm talking soul) Regards, Bill
stunsworth Posted December 15, 2007 Author Share #14 Posted December 15, 2007 I agree about the prints looking better. Perhaps next time we should all circulate prints instead. Then again perhaps not <grin>. I did notice one mistake by Ron, he said that the first challenge was on the 12th of November. I'm pretty certain is was December to fit in with all the '12s'. Rona!d Posted December 18, 2007 Share #16 Posted December 18, 2007 Steve, must be an error by the translator (still waiting for my english issue). In my original german article it´s 12.12.2004 (London) and so it reads in the german LFI. Agree, that the printed stuff looks by far better than our "crappy" internet-stuff. Even my shot wins important details (now you see the gun in the boys hand). Thanks all, it was a good time in Berlin and it deserved some "paper" i think! earleygallery Posted December 18, 2007 Share #17 Posted December 18, 2007 Ron, Just picked up a copy - excellent effort for you to get us published in LFI! One comment I have is that I don't wear wooly slippers!! Is that another translation problem? Nice plug for Krakow next year too, lets hope we have an even better turn out due to the article.
