Put card back in camera repeated several times -no firmware on SD card found

I could do it through Leica Photos on my iPad but more things could go wrong - bluetooth connection - sudden loss of wifi

So I will wait to see if anyone else has issues and try again possible at the weekend

Used Fotus app to update to 2.05. No issues using this method.

Accesing a selected profile  and going back to profile settings the profile selection goes back to the default setting. Cannot tell what profile I had previously loaded.  I have to set it again.

Did it do this before update?

Did you follow the process? Before the camera installs the updated firmware, it asks if you want to export your profiles to your SD card. After installing the firmware you go to the tab that lists the profiles and reimport them to the camera. Done.

Yes, just before starting the update it asks you to use the previously saved profiles which I did, all the saved profiles are listed after the update. I selected a profile to use. Turn the camera off, switch it back on and go to the profiles the previous profile is not shown in the User Profile in the Status screen, only the default is listed. Now I don't know which profile I loaded. So I have to choose the profile again to be sure. After the update once you select a previously saved  User Profile it's number is NOT shown in the User Profile icon in the Status Screen.

"The camera re-starts with the same settings as when it is switched off." This still works.

Here is a FAQ posting from member @Corius  here

OK, here's a quick guide to User Profiles. I've written this in previous posts, but now we have a FAQ.

1) The camera re-starts with the same settings as when it is switched off. There are a couple of transitory settings where this doesn't happen, but they are pretty unusual.

2) The User Profiles store virtually ALL camera settings with the exception of Shutter Speed, Aperture etc. Even the current display bars are stored.

3) Once you select a previously saved  User Profile it's number will be shown in the User Profile  icon in the Status Screen

4) ANY changes to settings will mean that the number shown for the current User Profile is no longer shown. There is no way to tell what User Profile you were previously in, or what the change was. This is a shortcoming of the UI

5) If you select eg User Profile 1, and then change a setting you will no longer see the "1" in the Status Screen (see 4 above), but if you change the setting back the "1" will re-appear.

6) The icon with an "S" is the Standard Profile Setting. The Standard Profile Setting can not be changed

7) The icon with an "X" is just a means of exiting the menu. This is VERY confusing

What seems to me to be really incredible: Now, over 24 hours later, on the Leica download sites the wrong file name is still NOT corrected yet . . . .

They seem not to bother about their customers and prefer drinking coffees and chat about coming weekend . . .

Such an error should be corrected within minutes.
