Sorry Max, I always start by the principle that IS A PITY TO GIVE AWAY a Leica lens... high speed, you say ? Why not to try the CV 28 1,9 ? The advantage is that if you decide it's not for you, you can resell with, by definition, few money lost (and I could even be interested... my CV 15 arrived to me in a similar way...).

W brescia ! (football team... well.. I'm not so engaged with...)

since I'm bored to use the external viewfinder with the 21mm f 2,8 I think to buy a

28 mm f 2 . It's agood idea?

Depends if you need both lengths. Depends what you shoot. Depends on your style.

Personally I've got both a 21mm and a 28mm. I don't see them as interchangeable; each has its own signature and I rely on them both. They are actually very different lenses to use, and the resultant image is highly specific to the signature.

But your needs may be different. It's a question that only you will be able to answer.

I'd certainly recommend the CV 28 1.9 with a Milich coded screw/bayonet adapter. It's a very sharp lens even wide open.

Unless you need to sell the 21 in order to finance the 28, keep it.

One day you will want to use it and you will not have it. You may then want to buy another only to find that the price has risen, shockingly, from the price you paid for it new and amount you sold it for used. You will kick yourself in the ass, tearing your ACL in the process, thus making the pain more excruciating.

This from experience, though I did not tear my ACL.
