I know and have dealt with Samy's for years. Not sure if they will ship overseas. Not sure where the OP is located either. The other promising 006 is at Topic in Aukland. Both at opposite ends of the Earth.

(Slightly off-topic) It really seems like they don’t want to work with non-US customers—their website blocks all traffic from outside the US with a "403 Forbidden" server message. I was only able to access it using a VPN. Strange approach 😔

(Rant continues ....) And like most other sites lately—including Leica’s own Classic website—they don’t mention the sensor condition. It’s getting a bit annoying having to contact Leica every time just to check whether a CCD S-body has had the sensor replaced—or whether an S-lens has had the motor replaced.  Vital information if you are on the hunt for used S products, if you ask me.

Some stores, like Leica Miami will never sell an M9 variant or S006 without a new sensor.  All used gear, if accepted, will have a full inspection and, if needed, sent to Leica Wetzlar or to DAG for service if necessary and if repair still feasible, often with resultant extended warranty. Prices are higher, but so are trade-in values.  Makes shopping easier.

True, but those stores seem to have not that many S equipment anymore.  In contrast the Leica Classics online website never mentions if the AF motor replacement was carried out or not. And they still have some decent inventory.  So indeed kudos for the ethics of stores like Leica Miami.

Not just ethics, but a better business model IMO, which allows for higher prices, more trade-ups, and fewer returns.

Tony Rose, owner of Popflash, and also a trustworthy dealer, was a major supplier of S gear for quite a while, but he moved away from it after too many hassles running interference on lens motor repairs for customers. Unfortunately I think he had no stomach for continuing with the used S market.

MPB here in Europe has a 120 Macro on sale rated in "Good" conditions for less than 850 Euro. They warn that "There is some internal moisture, but that doesn't affect image quality", guess it could be worth the risk for the price, worst case it can be returned (I already have one, otherwise I'd probably try my luck considering how good that lens is).

These were exactly my first three lenses....and would be the ones I would keep if I will reduce my lenses for the S.
