Q in 2024 any suggestions? Videos? Tips?

Hello, as you can see I’m new to the Leica brand but not new to photography. Have used film and digital. Nikon Sony and Fuji. Just curious if there is anything I should be looking up while I wait for this camera to arrive? Thanks

My suggestion: Did you download and read the instruction manual already? That would be a good thing to do while waiting . . .

Go out and start shooting it when you get it.  Get a spare battery and card, and keep shooting.  EXPERIMENT!  Have FUN!

16 years ago, before I bought my first Leica, the Digilux 2, it was Thorsten Overgaard who inspired me. His reviews are always very in-depth and inspiring if you have lots of time...

He even sees the Q as the logical successor to the Leica Digilux 2 heritage. I loved that 5 MP camera and still take it out from time to time.

The original Q Typ116 is a fantastic camera. Mine was bought in 2017 and I couldn’t part with it. I have always had a B+W 007 clear filter on the beautiful Summilux lens (I’m not starting an argument here - fine if you don’t 😂) and always carry a spare battery; I believe that LUMIX versions are cheap and available. I also prefer the feel of the camera with the handgrip. Apart from the battery, all very subjective but, bottom line: what a camera.
