In my case, the trouble is that I cannot use a camera without taking my sunglasses off, and then my eyes do not see low level signals well. Yesterday, in order to keep the shutter speed within reasonable limits, I had to uses ND filters on my Q3!

I find that the Lcd on my Q3 is not bright enough on a sunny day, even if adjust the setting to maximum brightness.

Does anyone have the same impression?

Tks.

This problem occurs in all cameras where exposure emulation cannot be disabled in the menu. iDR helps, but very little.
The M11 can be configured in the menu to emulate real exposure only when the shutter button is pressed. This helps tremendously with framing. I don’t understand why this option was excluded from Q3

I tend to prefer to use the eyepiece anyway, and when the sun is bright I have to get very close to it to avoid stray light. Yesterday I noticed that the eyepiece glass was smeary, I presume due to body grease/sweat. In cleaning this off with an extremely mild solution of dishwasher fluid, I wondered whether there is an eyecup available for the Q3. My Canon cameras have built in rubber surrounds that perform this function admirably.

The eyepiece is always my go to.

But I will agree, the ability to use a rubber eye up would be nice.  This has been brought up before here and unfortunately we could never find one.

Further to this problem, with the current extremely sunny weather I consider it prudent to use sunscreen. Now I find that on the eyepiece.

Perhaps sombody could design an extension that would prevent the eye/eyelashes getting too close. Such a gadget might be held on by sliding it behind the thumb grip. Apologies for lousy iPhone photo taken before cleaning!
