Advertisement Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 Hi yukosteel, Take a look here Leica M10 BP-SCL5 battery cap. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
TomB_tx Posted May 22, 2024 Share #2 Posted May 22, 2024 Nice job! I've never had a problem with "bare" M10 (or M9) batteries, but covering the contacts isn't a bad idea. I printed one, and it is fast and easy. Mine fits a bit tight, but that way it won't fall off.
TomB_tx Posted May 23, 2024 Share #3 Posted May 23, 2024 Looks like this would be a good part to try in TPU material (polyurethane).
yukosteel Posted May 23, 2024 Author Share #4 Posted May 23, 2024 I noticed that on two batteries shown on picture there is a slight fit difference of same sized cap. One marked "LEICA CAMERA AG", another "MFG For LEICA CAMERA AG". I'll include 3D model without two inner pins, it has slightly looser fit but my be better option if printed in TPU

TomB_tx Posted May 28, 2024 Share #6 Posted May 28, 2024 I made one printed in "Overture High-Speed TPU" (Thermoplastic PolyUrethane) a more flexible material. Perfect fit, and a good choice for this part.
