11-23 lens cap

While on a trip I lost the lens cap for my 11-23TL. I haven't been able to find one on line by searching Leica Super Vario Elmar 11-23 TL lens cap and Leica 67mm (what I measured) len cap. I guess I could call a Leica store, but I am surprised there is nothing on EBay or at B&H. Any ideas?

It is a cap for the 11-23 zoom that is wanted.
I think it doesn't have the same thread as the 18-56 or 23 mm...

Call your nearest official Leica dealer and ask if Leica keep back stock of items like this. Faster and you can ask questions more easily to get what you want.

I'm not surprised at all these are getting harder and harder to find, and it'll only get harder that further we get from it being a current product.

I own virtually the entire system and treat every piece like it's one I can't replace.

I am waiting to hear back from the Leica parts dept. I am hoping that even though they are no longer available retail, parts may have them.

This has become a project, non available in the US. Leica US suggested checking Leica Wetzlar, but they don't seem to have one. The link above to Leica Austria has one, but they won't let me order it until a get approved, then cost with shipping will be close to $100. Leica US has someone to facilitate buying parts from Europe, waiting to hear back from him. My wife is suggesting I shouldn't travel with Leica lens caps.

Thank you, but it was the wrong type. The TL E67 has internal clips to not to interfere with the lens shade.

Actually I ordered one from a another dealer in Canada. The propper lens cap Front Lens cap TL E67 #14031.

Amazon has six different brands of clip-on caps, all well under 10$. I would never replace it with an original cap. The best plan is to use an el-cheapo cap for daily use and save the original for resale.

Yes, I wanted an original for possible resale, but the 14031 lens cap is no longer produced. I found a used one from Canada, could have also ordered one from Leica store in Germany or Vienna, at $50 shipping. I think the next time I travel I will have generic lens caps. In 50 years of using Leicas I have never lost a 39mm metal cap or the 42mm reversed lens shade cap for that matter. I have lost both plastic caps from my 23 and 11-23 TL lenses. B&H has 67mm caps for $4.25.
