This color cast does not appear on non Adobe software like mine (Silkypix) and Capture One i've been told but i have no experience with the latter.

I'm using C1 and the colour cast is there, unfortunately.

Does anyone else have the WB DNG issue on their 11 or 11P causing strong a Magenta temp bias? Presumed this is firmware related but if it could be a user issue, please point me in the direction of the cause so i can correct. Always seems to exist no matter what i do with my WB.

This has been a known issue for a long time, but due to severe freezing issues, it has faded into the background and is unlikely to ever be fixed. I pray that my both M11s will at least be able to shoot without freezing, even with the wrong white balance, and I will wait for the M12 to forget this problematic model like a bad dream.

Buy any inexpensive small camera and before shooting with the M11, take a photo with the cheap camera so it measures the correct white balance, then you set these numbers in Lightroom

I doubt that will work. IIRC, it does not work when you do it with M10R and M11. The best way is to take a picture of a WB card and use that to set your WB.

I often use the Ricoh GRIIIx for this purpose and it works great. Leica should put this camera in the box as a necessary accessory😂

Why not take a picture of a WB card instead? I will try it with my GRIIIx later.

P.S.: I do not have any WB issues with my M11.

A gray card can be used when shooting staged shots, but it is inconvenient for street photography.

The problem is that magenta cast is quite random on M11. Therefore, batch processing in Lightroom is not a solution. And if you correct frames one at a time, then after correcting 3-4 frames, the eyes and brain get used to the incorrect balance and you have to pause for several minutes before correcting the next 3-4 frames. As a result, this greatly slows down post-processing.
