I am in the research of a messenger bag in order to be distinctive. I will carry me Leica Q3, 2 batteries, Power bank, Ipad Air 11 inch, Ricoh GRII wit batteries and a small Notebook A6.

Ona Brixton is too big https://onabags.com/collections/messenger-bags/products/the-brixton

I haven't decided yet if the material will be leather or waxed canvas

I have already these bags

  • Wotancraft pilot travel camera bag 2L
  • Peak Design Everyday Sling 3L v2
  • Billingham Hadley Small Pro Black/Tan

Any suggestions?

The only thing better than Billingham is another Billingham😀

Silent, quick opening,

absolute weather protection,

an appearance that matches almost any clothing,

many convenient pockets,

an appearance that looks thinner than it actually is.

For such a light camera like a Qx, you won’t need a dedicated camera messenger bag, any unpadded one will do it. I just wrap the camera in a fleece bag to prevent it from scratches in there. Advantage is that such bags are more flexible when carried cross-body.

I'm guessing all of those are too small for what you want. I know the PD 3L doesn't fit much. Why don't you look at the 7L version of your favorite of those three? Also what did you carry your X-T5 kit in?

I agree 100%.

Mine is just large enough to carry my Mac Air and iPad between the inside green padded section and the back.

Then the green padded area has plenty of room for my Q2 and a bottle of water, snacks, etc

The 2 front pockets have some cards, spare battery, clothes, etc in one and the other stores the crown jewels or whatever else I need.

Had it for years, used with many different cameras (the green padded area can be customised), strap is nice and thick and it sits very well.

I have 16 Billingham bags, I'm probably crazy🤣

I have a Bellroy camera sling - quite roomy(10l) and has brilliant flexible dividers. Also does not look like a camera bag.

I also have PD 6l sling, Billingham Hadley Small Pro and Ona Bowery Leica Edition. Love them all,but seem to use Bellroy the most.
