How is the 70-200 DG DN? I'm very tempted!

Simply excellent. At least on the level of Canon RF 79-200 (that I used together with Canon R5, now sold). Possibly not at the optical level of SL90-280, but much more simple in use. And Signa ir Leica 1.4x extender can be used.

this early morning SL-3
We are talking about ISO 10.000 with Sigma 150-600 + TK Panasonic: means 1200mm + f6.3 x2 at 1/40 sec (yes, before sunrise..... but the light was bad until now-right at the moment with sunshine....,)

Seeing if an Old Mamiya 645 (medium format) lens could work on the SL3 with a Kipon simple adapter. It is the 300mm f5.6 ULD N lens. Was hard for me to focus even with SL3 set to M and MF for zooming in. This is THE week here for our Dessert Roses to Blossum.

1/1000 ISO100 f8.0 from about 18 feet away. Extreme 75% crop. It has to me an old lens feel and I like the granular noise reminiscent of old lens designs. Had to downside to 1.2mb in order to get this site to take a 2.1mb file.

Decided to go back even though I was losing the light (2 stops under I found out) and compare with my APO 90 SL f4.0 @1/1000 ISO100 from about 7ft away and also an aggressive crop of 75% minimum.

Sl-3
F5.6 ISO 800 1/100 Sec with Voigtländer APO Lanthar 125mm SL Macro, M42

FYI: one of the most annoying things to the SL-2 was the sensor dust (I have never had another cam like the SL-2 with this mess of dirt--- like a vacuum "cleaner") the SL-3 has now an automatic (means mechanical working) sensor cleaning. I hope it will work....

it‘s a good solution - but still limited to dry dust, which remains in the camera body.
