norbertnl Posted February 28, 2024 Share #1  Posted February 28, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm not sure whether this counts as "Street" as I took it a couple meters underneath street level. It's one of a few shots I took yesterday night with my newly acquired M10R & Summicron 35 Asph V1 after 9 years without owning a digital Leica M. Feels good to be back! 🙂  Welcome, dear visitor! stuny Posted February 29, 2024 Share #3  Posted February 29, 2024 Welcome back to digital M-land.  Delightful shot.  Of course it makes rethink of that wonderful French film, Amalie
fotografr Posted March 1, 2024 Share #4  Posted March 1, 2024 This certainly fits the Street Photography category. Very nice shot. Do you still have your M2 and 50mm DR Summicron?

I still have the M2 and 50 DR, but I'm planning on selling them as they didn't get much use lately. With film I have come to shoot 4x5 BW almost exclusively. Norbert Norbert, It's such a lovely camera! If I thought I'd use it I'd very likely buy it from you. I deconstructed my darkroom several years ago and I'm beyond the point of going back to film. I'm sure you'll be sad to part with them. Brent
norbertnl Posted March 3, 2024 Author Share #7 Â Posted March 3, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi Brent, I'll let you know when I'm ready to decide. I feel that I need to part with some gear after the M10R burnt a whole in my pocket but it's not easy to choose pieces that finally need to go. The M2 works like a charm as it was carefully serviced before I got it from Meister in Hamburg, as was the 50DR. It's just that a camera like this ought to be used more than I did during the past three years. Norbert
