Good afternoon all. I just traded my 007 after only a month, up to an S3 as I’m in love with the S system! Is there anything I should look for during my window of return in order to make sure I have a good unit?

The S3 is similar enough to the s007 that I would say nothing specific.  That said, use it hard for a few days like you would have used the S007 and look at the image files on a large screen.  Print a few.  You should find any issues.  The operability is the same as the S007.

I would check AF accuracy (with several lenses)

Do the usual out of focus image of a blank white wall to check the sensor for dust spots or scratches

Look to see if your pics are improved; if not, return it.

Everything seems to check out except possibly the GPS, I can’t get a lock on a satellite. I see someone else here had similar issues, maybe I got their camera lol. I don’t care about GPS so all is good.

It can take quite a few minutes to lock on, even if only moved a few miles from last location...

I’ve set the auto shutoff to 10 mins and tried to sync from several different open locations to no avail. I gave up.
