They each have their strengths. The Summilux has a more gentle transition to the OOF areas and a bit less contrast and is smaller. The Nokton has a more Noctilux look wide open. A couple of things I really like about the Nokton are that there is no noticable focus shift and it is tack sharp throughout the range. It's also really well made and the focusing collar is very ergonomic. Then there's the price...
