Almost as though the gentleman with the pipe is waiting for his contact from behind the Iron Curtain so he can furtively exchange newspapers without being seen by one of Smiley's people. I'm curious how the colour version looks. My apologies, Brent, I went to hunt out the colour version but realise now I'd misnamed the film I'd shot it with. It was on a day when I was shooting both Adox Color-Implosion and Lomo Lady Grey and this one I shot with Lady Grey so no colour version available I'm afraid. Mea culpa.
