I’ve ruined plenty of photos at 1/500 sec. even with a 24mp M10-P.

Agree with that, I can hand hold at the reciprocal with my M11's without issue but I do have to concentrate!

InboundNeb Posted March 3 Share #84 Posted March 3 (edited) Currently have a M10-R (Silver) that I purchased pre-owned in mint condition from my Leica store. It came with 3 OEM batteries, which somewhat alleviates the rather short battery life. From a colour science perspective, improved metering and battery life/charging convenience, would it make sense to upgrade to a M11-P, considering value has retained quite well and could trade it without minimum value loss? Would love to hear your thoughts. Also, this has been asked, but does anyone have images they could share from using both kits? Thank you! setuporg Posted March 10 Author Share #85 Posted March 10 I had the M11-P and M11-D. The SSD on the M11-D failed and I got rid of both of them and am very happy again with my M10-R and M10-M. Will wait for M12.

The battery life improvements are worthwhile, but colour / metering is a mixed bag. M11 has a magenta shift in some situations (it's not always apparent). If you use the visoflex the M11 wins hands down. It's night and day. If you only use the OVF then I don't think the upgrade would be worthwhile. Not really much point sharing images as they won't look any different, and anything you see will be down to lens / editing differences. But you can check out the individual image threads in the M10 / M11 forums. Best not to judge camera purchases based on other people's photos - look specifically for features that you want. I can't tell the difference between my M10 / M10-R / M11 / Fuji, Sony, Hasselblad photos once they're edited. I notice the differences in Lightroom and some files are nicer to work with than others but as a final image there's no difference. 1
