Using Apo-Telyt lenses designed for Visoflex housing on M11

I presume a simple extension tube would be needed to be able to mount on the M11 (or other M bodies) if you have the modern Visoflex 2 for framing and focussing.

Does anyone know if such a tube exists?

Thanks,

Bill

Novoflex offers a set of adapters, that can be combined to achieve pictures from infinity to macro. Perhaps this one is an overkill.

I remember, that there is a simple adapter from Leitz too. Please look for LEM-VIS.

Perhaps this one OUBIO = 16466M. It offers: Visoflex screw mount in and M-bayonet out.

OUBIO = 16466M will not work. It is needed to adapt Visoflex LTM lenses to the Visoflex M mount. The lens will fit, but flange distance is wrong if you use it on the Leica M.

There are 2 options. Use a Visoflex (vintage) housing with mirror up, which might be a bit awkward.

I recommend to use the R-M adapter combined with a Visoflex - R adapter like this:

All visoflex lenses are not rangefinder coupled so you need the EVF/ LV to focus.

You are right. See here: http://www.lippisches-kameramuseum.de/Aktuelle_Kameras/Leitz_Adapter_OUBIO_M_Visoflex_16466.htm#

As forum member lct suggests, you are in the wrong chapter. You mention APO corrected lenses for the Viso. There are no APO lenses in the Visoflex system, but there are some for the Leica R system.

Perhaps you describe the lenses you possess or want to buy more in detail.

In the title of this forum, you find the entry Leica Wiki. You can find the R-lenses (R Lenses x Focal Length) and the Viso lenses (under Visoflex Lenses x Focal Length).

The only APO Telyt M lens I know of currently in production is the 135 f3.4.

All M lenses can be used with the M11+Viso, but specifically designed for use with it is not how they are described.
