This is from a series where I tried to darken everything around Pauline as much as possible. The light should only shine on her face. I really like the results but especially in this case it is for sure a matter of taste. Taken with the Q2 (please click on the photo for a sharper version)

I'm with the crowd on this. I like the result very much.

If it was my image I'd crop off the top 1/4 to bring her face more away from the mid point vertically. 

I'm constantly impressed with the way you try different lighting techniques and poses. A lot of photographers find something that works and just stick with it. That's definitely not you.

thank you very much Brent for your kind words, really much appreciated. I did not crop the photo because I wanted to have the light coming from above like a small sun. And with the crop I have chosen, the „sun“ is exactly in the right upper corner and she is looking directly to this light.

But I agree with you, your crop would emphasize her face better.
