I recently have used the Sigma 18-50 more often and when reviewing my images I feel there are some images which show slightly worse focus accurancy (faces not allways totaly sharp).

I understand shallower DOF but also seems compared to primes. I did not do scientific comparison though. I just realized when post processing my vacation images.

Do others have similar experience? Could it be the Sigma focuses slightly less accurate sometimes when used on Leica CL?

No focus issue with the Sigma 18-50/2.8 here. Beware that DoF can be shallow on close-ups, especially at full aperture. Below at f/2.8.

Can the AF be adjusted through the USB Dock?

It can via the Sigma USB dock but it is a very time consuming process of: Make a correction, try it.  Make another correction, try it.  And it needs to be done at each focal length for best results.  It goes quicker once you develop a feel for it.  It also require a test chart/triangular box that can be found on Amazon.

I have a TL2 (same sensor and AF system) and the Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 lens.  I have not experienced any abnormal amount of missed focus.  But when I have the time I will usually do a double tap shutter button half press to get two lock on's before pressing the shutter all the way down.  The contrast detection AF of the CL & TL2 are not the best out there.  I think they require a bit more deliberate attention to focus than cameras with phase detect AF.

AF works fine on both static and moving subjects in my experience. I never had to use an USB dock then (digital CL, Sigma 18-50/2.8, FF and crops).
