Richard Lewisohn Posted August 6, 2023 Share #1 Posted August 6, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) I can't see a way of adding Perspective Control to Favorites, and I can't think of any reason why this wouldn't be an option. I was hoping this would be updated in the new 1.2 Firmware, but it isn't. Anyone have any thoughts/ideas? Thanks.
Advertisement Posted August 6, 2023 Posted August 6, 2023 Hi Richard Lewisohn, Take a look here Q3 - Can't add Perspective Control to Favorites. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
SrMi Posted August 6, 2023 Share #2 Posted August 6, 2023 It is unclear why it cannot be in the Favorites. You can assign Perspective Control to one of the buttons. I find that more convenient on SL2 and M11 than accessing it via menus.
M11 for me Posted August 6, 2023 Share #3 Posted August 6, 2023 (edited) I think that when I shoot architecture I want to have immediate access to that function and then turn it off again as fast as I turned it on. That is only possible if I put that function on a function button. So I have it on one of the 2 buttons on the the camera back. Thats my method. Richard Lewisohn Posted August 8, 2023 Author Share #4 Posted August 8, 2023 The two function buttons keep reverting to digital crop and photo/video as well! Another thing I was hoping might be sorted out in the new firmware.

Have you set up user profiles to save your settings? I have done so and (aside from the need for a little re-programming following the 1.2.0 firmware update) the buttons retain their programmed functions. Richard Lewisohn Posted August 8, 2023 Author Share #6 Posted August 8, 2023 Yes, I have. And one of the function buttons was set to select User Profiles, to move quickly to Long Exposure, 120fps video, etc.., but the buttons have been reverting to Digital Crop and Photo/Video. I need to check whether this is happening when I select a user profile (in case these change with each selected user profile).

Basic question I know but it is possible to set it all up and exit without saving, I did it myself.
