stvn66 Posted July 15, 2023 Share #1 Â Posted July 15, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, In addition to rotating the timer lever to the locked 6 o'clock position and then releasing the shutter by pressing the small button, should you also be able to release the shutter using the normal top shutter release button? Thank you

stvn66 Posted July 15, 2023 Author Share #3 Â Posted July 15, 2023 Thanks but this iiif link has no timer, I need someone who owns a iiif ST to either confirm or deny this. My camera has returned from a CLA and I am quite sure the normal shutter release button also activates the timer...but I am not 100% sure.
earleygallery Posted July 15, 2023 Share #4 Â Posted July 15, 2023 Try this https://www.cameramanuals.org/leica_pdf/leica_m-guide-01.pdf Don't press the shutter button.
TomB_tx Posted July 15, 2023 Share #5 Â Posted July 15, 2023 (edited) Even with the self timer set, you can press the shutter release any time as normal to skip the timer delay and snap a photo, but only the timer button on the front will start the timer.
