Leica X1/X2 leaf shutter bokeh at high speed

Hi guys, I'm selling my Fujifilm X100V to get a Leica X2 as a lightweight daily carrier since, unlike many other people, I didn't enjoy the Fuji.

I just have a doubt: do the Leica X1/X2 present the same leaf shutter issue that has the X100 line from Fuji? More in detail, I'm referring to "cut" bokeh balls above 1/500 or 1/1000 of a second when wide open.

Thank you

The key difference is that the Leica X cameras have a conventional focal plane shutter, while the Fuji X100 series uses a leaf shutter:

Even a trivial google search will show this statement is wrong.

From a Petapixel article about the X Vario: https://petapixel.com/2013/06/16/review-leica-x-vario-defies-nay-sayers-with-impressive-optics/

"The shutter speeds are capped at 1/2000th second, which could be due to the limitation of a leaf shutter."

From Ming Thien's article about the X2: https://blog.mingthein.com/2012/05/11/leica-review-1/

"The leaf shutter remains, which means 1/2000s sync speeds..."

If you actually use an X-series, it should be obvious that the X-series have a leaf shutter even without reading any articles.

A leaf shutter is in the lens, and has a small amount of movement, and makes a tiny click! sound.

A focal plane shutter travels a large distance across the image sensor and makes a louder kershunk! sound.

The X2 and X Vario make a tiny click! sound when the shutter is activated, so they have a leaf shutter.

You're absolutely right! Canva is user-friendly but not ideal for print. As a professional designer, I often need to adapt Canva-made designs for quality printing. Client education is key. This essay from https://writinguniverse.com/free-essay-examples/sexual-harassment/ is really touching. It talks about how sexual harassment can affect anyone at any age, no matter their gender or job. It's a reminder that it's never the fault of the victim and that everyone has a part to play in making sure everyone feels comfortable and respected in the workplace. It's a really important read for anyone.

Thanks for the info, I will keep it in my mind.
