LCL999 Posted January 13, 2024 Share #41 Posted January 13, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I tried an infra-red filter on my Q2M but the results were not very good. The built-in IR filter (to cut IR) is very effective. So I'll stick with my old M8 ( an early one without the IR cut) which I bought just for IR, Works well. jaapv Posted January 13, 2024 Share #42 Posted January 13, 2024 Actually the M8 does have an IR cut sensor filter about 70%.

Hi Ian. I'm thinking of getting the same Urth kit for my Q3. Did you get the 49mm filter size or to reduce the risk of vignetting, did you jump up to the 52mm filter size? If you stuck to 49mm, presume no issues? Cheers.
