Got a new M6, and ran a test roll of 50D Cinestill (w. leica 35mm 2.0 summicron lens) ... got the develops back and every single frame looks like this below with the dots horizontal along the top, and light leaks on top and bottom.  Any ideas on if this was the film, the developing, how I shot, or a mechanical error????  Trying to trouble shoot before a big trip, any advice is appreciated!!!!!

The spots suggest air bubbles during the development. The discoloration towards the bottom different chemical density. I think it is a development failure.

I have weird stuff with cinestill, not everytime though but it’s there, enough to make me consider use it for a serious shooting session

I used to love using Cinestill 800, but gave up on it after the last few rolls had light leaks from the manufacturer.  Their quality control is not up to par.

havent been so reliable, i mean first few and last few rolls of cinestill are being notoriously leaked with lights.. but i found some other frames which fogs too like the one in the OP samples

however after close inspections, may be jaapv was right to point out on the air bubbles during the development but still now i wouldnt take cinestill for a more serious shooting session

at least dont scratch the pressure plate huss 😃
